Installation Instructions of Filter Bags

The bag filter is an integrated dust filtration and environmental protection device consisting of a dust collector, a filter bag, accessories and auxiliary machines. Among them, the filter bag is equivalent to the “heart” of the bag filter, and it plays a vital role in the normal operation of the bag filter. In the event of the filtration failure caused by unconventional damage to the filter bag, the possible factors may include: materials of the filter bag, filter material selection, filter material quality, the filter bag processing and installation, etc. And also, it may have a close relationship with the design parameters of the dust collector, the operating parameters of the flue gas, the setting, making and installation of the pulse blowing device, the quality of the filter bag cage, and the installation of the dust collector, etc.

Practice has proved that the phenomenon of broken bags, leaking bags, dropped bags, burned bags and sticky bags, etc. in the operation of bag filter often appears on the “filter bag”, but sometimes the problem is caused by the determination of the design parameters of the dust collector, the change of the inlet flue gas parameters, the structural parts related to the bag filter (filter bag, plate, bag seat, blow pipe, etc.). Therefore, when installing the bag filter, we should have a comprehensive understanding of the dust removal process, the structure of the dust collector and the filter bag itself.
