The function of PTFE coated bag filters

The so-called coating is a continuous porous microstructural body that is extremely tough and soft, and is made of PTFE (Poly-TETRAFLUO-ROETHYLENE), which has been specially processed by high-tech technology. Compared with other materials, this coating has a finer and more uniform coating. The porosity is high, even if it is a tiny powder, it can be captured, plus it is 100% PTFE coated material, so it has the properties of high releasing, heat resistance, chemical resistance (not including molten alkaline metals and active fluorine gas), and it is not degraded under all conditions.

The PTFE coated bag filter refers to a new type of filter material formed by compounding a layer of poly tetra fluoroethylene (PTFE) film on the surface of an ordinary bag filter. This layer of film is equivalent to a "primary dust layer", and material exchange is carried out on the surface of the film. Due to the film's unique three-dimensional network structure, dust can not pass through, and it can be effectively filtered. The film-coated bag filter uses the surface of the coating to replace the traditional primary layer cake with a uniform and fine pore size, so that the penetration rate of the dust is almost zero. At the same time, due to the low surface friction coefficient, hydrophobicity, temperature resistance, and chemical resistance of the coating itself, the dust powder will fall off automatically, ensuring the long-term stability of the equipment resistance, and making the filter material have excellent effects of “capturing dust powder and surface filtration”.

The PTFE coated bag filter not only improves the filtration accuracy, but also has the advantages of easy ash removal, good running stability, long service life, etc., and can effectively reduce the number of bag replacements, thereby saving costs for the users.
