The multi-layer fiberglass composite needle felt has a plurality of layers of felt fibers on the base fabric, and the upper and lower calendering mechanical movements of the needle barbs cause the felt layer and the base fabric fibers to cross each other and become a whole. The base fabric is made of fiberglass or synthetic fiber hybrid fiber, and a woven fabric base cloth is produced according to warp and weft. The felt fiber is made by mixing fiberglass, aramid, synthetic fiber, etc. in an opener. The diameter of the glass fiber is round, and different felt layers also use mixed fibers of fiberglass and synthetic fiber of different diameters, so it can make full use of the advantages of complementary materials and diversified arrangement to combine more cost-effective needle-punched felt.
Depending on the material and the environment in which it is used, the orientation of the different layers of the felt may be superimposed in the same direction of the base fabric or symmetrically distributed on both sides of the base fabric.
Scientifically and reasonably designed, high temperature and corrosion resistant multi-layer glass fiber composite needle felt has been widely used, especially suitable for high temperature dust filtration, such as carbon black, refractory materials, chemistry and other situations that need to control high temperature industrial soot.
