The dust bag is the main filter part of the bag filter. The quality of the dust bag is directly related to the filter effect of the entire filter. Therefore, it is very important to choose the filter bag correctly. Improper selection will seriously reduce the dust removal efficiency of the dust collector and even cause safety accidents. Only by properly selecting the bag filter can the normal operation of the dust filter be ensured, achieve its predetermined dust removal efficiency and reduce the operating cost of the bag filter.
1. Selection of dust bag filter wind speed:When the dust particle size is finer, the temperature and humidity are higher, the concentration is greater, and the viscosity is greater, the low value should be selected, such as ≤ 1m/min; otherwise, the high value can be selected, generally should not exceed 1.5m/min. For a large dust particle size, room temperature, dryness, non-sticky, and extremely low concentration, optional 1.5 ~ 2m/min filtration rate is selected, and should be calculated in the reduction of one room (cleaning time) filter area when the net filter speed is not appropriate if more than the above value.
2. Selection of dust bag filter materials:The filter material should be considered based on the temperature, moisture content, acid and alkali properties of the dust gas, the viscosity, concentration, and abrasiveness of the dust. Generally when the moisture content is small, no acidity is selected according to the temperature of the dust gas. When the temperature is ≤120°C, a 500-550g/m2 polyester needle felt is used. When the temperature is less than 250°C, Kevlar Nomex Needle felt or 800g/m2 glass fiber needle felt or 800g/m2 weft double fiberglass fabric or FMS high temperature filter material are used. (Fiberglass material cannot be used for Fluorine-containing gas).
When the moisture content is large and the concentration of dust is large, waterproof, oil-repellent filter media (or anti-condensation filter media) or coated filter media (the base cloth should be a waterproof needle-punched felt) should be used.
When the dust-laden gas contains acid, alkali and gas temperature ≤ 190 °C, Leyton (Pyrene polyphenylene sulfide) needle felt is often used. When the gas temperature is ≤ 240°C, and the acid and alkali resistance requirements are not too high, P84 (polyimide) needle felt is used. When the dust-containing gas is flammable and explosive, use anti-static Polyamide needle felt. When the dust-containing gas has both a certain amount of moisture and flammable and explosive gas, waterproof, oil-proof and anti-static (three-proof) Polyester needle felt is used.Contact: Mr Li
